The schedule reliability of StreamLines’ Blue Stream Service has been disrupted over the last few months. Delays at ports and port closures as well as operational issues with the chartered container tonnage compromised the service level and schedule. Starting week 12, StreamLines will convert the container vessel service into a reefer vessel service, thereby using specialized reefer vessels which are under Seatrade’s technical management and sail with Seatrade’s own crew. We invite you to read the relevant press release and to contact us in case of any questions.
The change in the Blue Stream service also means that we will offer one additional sailing from Turbo to UK and NL, extending the loading times directly into specialized reefer vessel to full harvest week Monday-Friday in Turbo.
This service will dove-tail with Seatrade’s Caribanex service. Shippers will not only be enabled to make use of all advantages of banana pallet loading during the full week but additional space available will be available.
