Intermodal in Hamburg

From 17 to 19 November, Hamburg hosted the Intermodal Europe 2015. The Intermodal exists since 40 years and is the leading global container, transport and logistics event. On behalf of Seatrade Hamburg, Mareike attended the show together with three colleagues from the container department of Seatrade Reefer Chartering in Antwerp.

Seatrade Motorcycle Tour

While Mareike competed at the sailing regatta, Jörg enjoyed some rainy days in Scotland joining the Seatrade motorcycle tour. The team met in the Dutch city Ijmuiden to take the ferry to Newcastle and drove from there to the Atlantic coast of Scotland. Stops along the route before returning to Newcastle included Bellochantuy, Ardfern, Tobermorey on the Isle

33. Schiffahrtsregatta 2015

While Jörg was enjoying a “Seatrade” motorcycle tour in Scotland, Mareike competed at the Schiffahrtsregatta representing Seatrade Hamburg. The Seatrade sailing crew did very well this year and came in 2nd place in their class, yardstick >97. The 33rd Schiffahrtsregatta hosted 130 yachts with about 1200 sailors, all working in the shipping industry.
